Have a Heart For Tee tonight

In February, Tee was told that her body was rejecting her third heart, and she will need another transplant. Tonight's Have a Heart For Tee fund-raiser, hosted by Tiki's Grill & Bar, aims to help Tee's family with medical costs while she waits for her heart, and raise awareness of organ donation. Heavy pupu will be served; live entertainment includes Cory Olivares, Vaihi and Weldon Kekauoha. Entry is $40. Call Joanne Kapololu at 782-5184 for more information.
SURFING
This month's Outside magazine honors the surfers — famous and infamous — of Kaua'i, dubbed "the epicenter of summer soul." The portrait gallery includes big-wave legend Titus Nihi Kinimaka, pro ripper Keala Kennelly and rising star Leila Hurst. So where's Andy Irons in all of this? The three-time world champ is on the cover. Duh.
