Two other Manoa Cup champions Travis Toyama (2002) and Dick Sieradzki (1990) also advanced to the round of 16.

Medalist TJ Kua defeated Michael Jay Sato, 3 and 2, and Raymond Tendo, 2 and 1, to reach the round of 16, where he will play Sean Doi at 7:32.
