HEARD IN JAPAN

You don't need subtitles to figure out that the frenetic strumming in the background of the hit Japanese series "Rikon Bengoshi II" is none other than Jake Shimabukuro.
The series, which airs on the Nippon Golden Network (digital channel 677) uses music from Shimabukuro's upcoming CD "Dragon" to accompany its fast-paced comedic storylines.
Shimabukuro has also lent his furious fingers to the Japanese children's show "NHK Karada de Asobo," which is broadcast only in Japan.
