Summer of free family films

"Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius" will be screened Tuesday at the Dole Cannery theaters at part of a free series of family films.

Free films for kids and parents will be offered at the Dole Cannery theaters beginning Tuesday as part of Regal Entertainment Group's 14th annual Free Family Film Festival (www.regalcinemas.com/family_film/). The festival also is sponsored by Animal Planet and Kellogg's Apple Jacks.

All films will be screened at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, with an added Wednesday showing on Aug. 10:

  • Tuesday: "Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius" and "Andre the Seal."
  • June 28: "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown" and "Lemony Snicket's An Unfortunate Series of Events."
  • July 5: "Black Beauty" and "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie."
  • July 12: "Rugrats in Paris" and "Mousehunt."
  • July 19: "Spirit: Stallion of Cimarron" and "Wild Thornberrys: The Movie."
  • July 26: "Lassie" and "Milo & Otis."
  • Aug. 2: "Rugrats: The Movie" and "Harriet the Spy."
  • Aug. 9-10: "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown," "Indian in the Cupboard."
  • Aug. 16: "Charlotte's Web" and "Rugrats Go Wild."

Seating is first come, first served.
