Surfing's 'Soul' on the wall

ART HAPPENING

Jonathan Damm's paintings are named after his favorite songs from the Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, the Eagles and Neil Young. Inspired by Salvador Dali, Peter Max and Andy Warhol, the Florida-based artist's color-filled works fuse pop, abstract and surrealism. The former North Shore resident/surfer's paintings, and surf photography by Bernie Baker, Craig Fineman and Rick Doyle will be on display at the "30 Years of Soul" exhibit opening tonight at the Green Room Gallery.
