Hi'olani center plans job fair

Hi'olani Care Center at Kahala Nui will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 12 noon June 25 to hire full- and part-time registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, as well as a healthcare admissions coordinator.

Residents are continuing to move into the new senior living center, which is scheduled to open its assisted living wing in August. When fully operational, the facility will be home to about 500 seniors and will employ roughly 255 staff.

"We are faced with Hawai'i's tight job market and the shortage of healthcare professionals so we are offering attractive incentives for employed nurses," said Hi'olani administrator Cindy Meiers. For details, call 218-7000 or visit www.kahalanui.com.
