Two local teens win Westfield golf titles

Chan Kim and Kimberly Kim won the 2005 Aloha Section Westfield Junior PGA Championship, held Thursday and yesterday at the Turtle Bay Resort's George Fazio Course.

Chan Kim (71-66—137), 15, finished four strokes ahead of second-place finisher Henry Park (70-71—141) in the boys competition.

Kimberly Kim (65-77—142), 13, was one stroke better than O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion Britney Choy (71-72—143) to win the girls title.

Chan Kim and Kimberly Kim qualified for the National Westfield Junior PGA Championship, July 13 to 16, at Westfield Group Country Club in Ohio.



Volleyball camp

Rainbow Wahine will have four sessions

The first of four University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball camp sessions will be held tomorrow through Wednesday at the UH athletic campus.

All four sessions will run from 1 to 5 p.m. daily.

The second session will be July 14 to 17; the third session is Aug. 1 to 4; the last session is Aug. 8 to 11.

The camp is open to boys and girls grades 4 through 12. The fee is $150 per sesssion.
