Alexander & Baldwin reorganizes units

Alexander & Baldwin Inc. said it will promote Chief Financial Officer Chris J. Benjamin to senior vice president from vice president.

Stanley M. Kuriyama will be promoted to chief executive officer of the company's Land Group, a new organizational structure combining the company's agribusiness and real estate subsidiaries, Alexander & Baldwin said in a statement on its Web site. The moves are effective July 1. The company said G. Stephen Holaday will be president of the Agribusiness unit, including sugar and coffee functions, reporting to Kuriyama.



Parade of Homes set for weekends of Oct. 1-2 and Oct. 8-9

The Building Industry Association of Hawai'i will hold the 49th Annual Parade of Homes during the weekends of Oct. 1-2 and Oct. 8-9, the association announced today.

The premier statewide showcase of new homes in Hawai'i will provide consumers with information on the latest trends, technology and design innovations in residential construction. The deadline for entries is June 30.
