• A sharing of what services and supplies are needed by combined military forces that can be supplied by local businesses will be the focus of the Third Annual Department of Defense HAWAI'I SMALL BUSINESS FORUM. The forum will provide private firms an opportunity to learn about contracting with the government and acquaint government officials with what services and supplies are available from both large and small companies locally. • How to more successfully sell on eBay — writing better sales pitches, setting enticing prices and using PayPal — will be among the focuses of an E-BAY WORKSHOP sponsored by the Hawai'i Small Business Development Center Network. • "LOCAL STYLE LEADERSHIP MADE EASY" — why people of Hawai'i are "hardwired" for leadership, and how to put these concepts to work professionally — will be the focus in the next in a series of YWCA-sponsored women-empowerment luncheon discussions, "Bungee Boost! Women Challenging Limits." Speaking will be Celine Nelsen, of Leadership Works Seminars.
