Advertiser Staff

Retired Admiral Thomas Fargo, former commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, has accepted the chairmanships of Loea Corp. and Sago Systems, two technology companies that do research and development work for the federal government.

The two firms are subsidiaries of Trex Enterprises Corp., a San Diego-based company with offices on O'ahu, Maui and Kaua'i.

Fargo will be based at Trex's O'ahu office and oversee the direction of Loea Corp., which specializes in "high bandwidth free space millimeter wave radios."

Fargo, who relinquished his military command on Feb. 26, also sits on the board of directors of Hawaiian Electric Industries.
