Vertov Industries is casting a low-budget feature-length independent film to be entered into local film festivals. Parts for all ages and types for an April-May production schedule. Call for audition time and location for tomorrow through Sunday or March 11-13. 845-4793.

Kumu Kahua Theatre auditions for the May production of Mark D. Tjarks' "Ventriloquist," 9 a.m.-noon Saturday and Sunday at the theater. Roles include an African-American female, early 30s to late 40s; Asian male, late 20s to early 40s; Caucasian female, late 20s to early 40s; hapa female, early teens; Caucasian male, early teens; Asian female, early 50s to late 60s. Auditions include a cold reading of the script, some improvisation and simple movement work. 536-4222.

Murder Mystery Players auditions for "Etiquette for a Murder," which plays March 26-April 30 at Dave and Busters, noon Sunday at The ARTS at Marks Garage. All actors must be age 18 and over and will be asked to read from the script. Actors are paid $75 per performance. 258-0205.
