• "Be Cool": Sequel that knows it's a sequel, with some of the same characters as "Get Shorty" (1995), including John Travolta as Chili Palmer — a Miami loan shark turned L.A. movie producer in the first movie, and now in the music business. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has a featured role. • "The Jacket": Adrien Brody plays a wounded soldier who is taken for dead, recovers from his amnesia, finds himself framed as a cop killer, and is sent to an asylum. • "Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior": Notable because the film brags that all the martial-arts stunts are really being performed. Tony Jaa, a formidable young Thai stuntman, stars as a villager who goes to Bangkok to get back a statue sacred to his people. • "The Pacifier": Vin Diesel stars as a Navy SEAL who finds himself baby-sitting the five children of a scientist whose encryption code could tilt the balance of power.
