Oscar victor 'The Sea Inside' screens at Academy of Arts

It won this year's Academy Award for best foreign-language film. It's the real-life story of Ramón Sampedro, who battled three decades for the right to end his life on his own terms. It stars smoldering-Spanish-hottie-for-the-intelligent-girl Javier Bardem.

Director Alejandro Amenabar's "The Sea Inside" plays at the Doris Duke Theatre at 1 and 7:30 p.m. today; Friday and Sunday showings are at 1, 4 and 7:30 p.m. Admission is $7 ($5 for Academy of Arts members). Information: 532-8768.
