Soup scholarships: Mmm, good

High school students ages 13 to 18 can apply for Campbell's Soup at Hand — Lend a Hand Scholarships, which honor outstanding volunteers.

Nominations must be received by March 21. Teens can be self-nominated or nominated by a friend, parent, guardian, adviser or teacher.

The two grand-prize winners will receive $5,000 scholarships.

In addition, the grand prize winner for Outstanding Achievement in School-based Volunteerism will win a celebrity-signed snowboard and the opportunity to have a private lesson with top female snowboarder Tara Dakides.

The grand-prize winner for Outstanding Achievement in Community Service-based Volunteerism will win a celebrity-signed skateboard and the opportunity to have a private lesson with top vertical skateboarder Bucky Lasek.
