Moped rider killed in Wai'anae collision

An unidentified man was killed this morning when the moped he was riding collided with a milk delivery truck on Farrington Highway near the McDonald's Restaurant in Wai'anae.Police traffic investigators said the moped was headed toward Makaha when the truck, which was headed the other way, made a left turn in front of the moped.
The 54-year-old man driving the truck was not injured, police said.
One westbound lane of the highway was closed after the 6:16 a.m. crash.
