Tonight's Must-See
"Survivor: Palau," 7 p.m., CBS. It's time for the annual two-week period when "Survivor" moves to Wednesdays. Each time, it leaves viewers confused. The NCAA basketball tournament begins tomorrow. That nudges "Survivor" a day earlier where the seventh person will be voted off the island. "TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV," 7 p.m., TV Land. Memories flow with honors for classic shows and individuals. Special awards go to "The Carol Burnett Show" and "The Bob Newhart Show." Individual ones go to Don Cornelius who hosted the first 23 years of "Soul Train" and to Aaron Spelling, who has filled the screen with such glitzy diversions as "Love Boat," "Charlie's Angels," "Summerland" and "7th Heaven." "Lost," 7 p.m., ABC. Here's another rerun. This one involves Kate's odd obsession with the contents of a locked briefcase. That provides a chance to flash back to her past with criminals. "American Dreams," 7 p.m., NBC. As "American Bandstand" makes its first trip to the West Coast, it brings along some of its dancers. Naturally, that includes Meg and Roxanne, who have opposite goals. Roxanne is excited about seeing celebrities especially "I Dream of Jeannie" star Barbara Eden (Paris Hilton). John Legend plays Stevie Wonder. "Alias," 8 p.m., ABC. A killing machine can target DNA codes. "The West Wing," 8 p.m., NBC. Secret talks with Cuba (once revealed) angers some. Meanwhile, Leo and Kate discover they have an intimate connection. "CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. A bike messenger and a dog handler have been killed. "One Strong Arm," 9:30 p.m., A&E. When Cody Wagner was 18 months old, surgery for a brain tumor left part of his body paralyzed. In the 16 years since then, he has continued to find active pursuits. This documentary views a new one: Because one arm is fine, he competes in arm-wrestling. The film offers a warm portrait of Cody and his energetic family.
