• The spring menu is in place at Chef Mavro in Honolulu. Chef George Mavrothalassitis continues to explore his roots, and then deconsruct them, with dishes that are based on classics, including Kahuku Shrimp Provencale Salad, Roasted Kurobuta Pork "Blanquette" (pork tenderloin in a sauce accented with coconut) and Calamansi Pudding (an intriguing piquant baked dessert with orange foam and Volcano honey glaze). Sample wines, linger amid the lingerie at Formaggio

In keeping with the interest in pinot noir sparked by the movie "Sideways," and the somewhat feminine nature of this wine, Bouvier Productions is hosting a pinot tasting and lingerie fashion show from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Formaggio Wine Bar (rear from Market City Shopping Center, next to Fujioka's Wines).
