Mid-Pac tourney honors soldiers

The Mid-Pacific Country Club's third annual Malama ia Hawai'i benefit golf tournament on May 23 will honor members of the Hawai'i National Guard and U.S. Army Reservists serving in the Middle East.

Proceeds will go toward purchasing phone cards so they can call their families back home.

After lunch, the shotgun start will be at 12:30 p.m. with an awards program to follow. The field will be limited to the first 144 entries. For more information, call 261-9765 or 262-8161.

Ko Olina demo day

Golf equipment representatives will be on hand during a demo day at the Ko Olina Golf Club Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 676-5300.
