This year's tournament opens with a pro-am on April 13, followed by the 72-hole tournament, which starts the following day.

The tournament's flights are professional, pro-senior, championship, A and B.

Entry forms are available by contacting Mid-Pacific's golf shop at 261-9765.

Deadline is today.

Ka'anapali South closed for renovations

Ka'anapali Golf Courses' Resort South Course will be closed tomorrow to Nov. 15 for renovations to the course and its clubhouse.

The project, headed by designer Robin Nelson, includes a new irrigation system, re-grassing of greens and tee boxes, and renovations to the bunkers and landscaped areas. The practice range will include new target greens and turf within the tee line.

Ka'anapali's Tournament North Course will be host to U.S. Open local and sectional qualifiers on May 14 and June 16, respectively.
