Advertiser News Services

The UCLA men's volleyball team received the at-large bid for the NCAA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Championship on Thursday and Saturday at Los Angeles.

The third-seeded Bruins (25-5) will meet second-seeded Penn State (30-3) in the first semifinal Thursday at Pauley Pavilion. Top-seeded Pepperdine (23-2) will face fourth-seeded Ohio State (24-7) in the other Thursday semifinal.

The championship match will be Saturday.

UCLA has hosted the men's NCAA Championship 13 times. This year is the first the Bruins will participate on their home floor since winning the 1996 title against the University of Hawai'i.
