Wai'anae, Kailua advance in OIA Tournament

Kipi Rosa's grand slam and Willy Duseigner's two-run homer sparked an eight-run third inning that carried Wai'anae to an 11-3 victory over visiting Castle yesterday in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Tournament first-round game.
Charleston Low batted 3 for 3 and scored three runs for the Seariders (9-2).
Ikaika Reppuhn had a triple and RBI for the Knights (6-5).

The Surfriders scored three runs in the top of the seventh to toppled the host Sabers.
Michael D'Alessio and Kekoa Su'a each batted 2 for 4 and drove in two runs, and Matthew Kinoshita homered for Kailua.
Tristan Bailey had two hits and two RBIs, and James Bannister homered for Campbell.
