Local starlet Jasmine Trias was in the spotlight once again, voicing her opinion about ABC's "Primetime Live" exposé of "American Idol." Thirteen million TV households tuned in Wednesday night to watch the ABC program, more than double the show's usual audience.
Advertiser library photo Host Karyn Bryant spoke to former contestants of the popular Fox talent show about allegations against judge Paula Abdul made by Corey Clark, one of the 12 finalists during the show's second season.
Clark claims that Abdul secretly coached him and that they had an affair during his stint on the competition.
"I think she (Abdul) should just come out and defend herself," Trias told Bryant.
Trias, who finished third last season, appeared on the CNN program with Trenyce and Carmen Rasmusen, finalists from the second season.
"I don't believe a word of it," Trias said yesterday in an interview on CNN Headline News' "Showbiz Tonight."
Jasmine Trias doubts that an "American Idol" judge and contestant had a romantic liaison.
