Football officials sought

The Hawai'i Football Officials Association is recruiting members and will begin training sessions for new officials on May 24. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks, and will provide generic training on football rules and officiating mechanics.

Officials' training

The Football Officials Aloha Clinic is scheduled for June 10 to 12 on O'ahu.

Organizers said the free clinic is a chance for new and experienced officials to develop skills and tune up for the high school and youth league seasons.
