Lee Cataluna ends stay in hospital

Honolulu Advertiser columnist Lee Cataluna was discharged from the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children yesterday.
Cataluna, 38, had been hospitalized since May 2 when she suffered complications in childbirth. Her baby girl remains in the hospital's intensive-care unit.

"We're humbled and overwhelmed by the support and messages that we've received, and want to thank everyone for keeping us in their thoughts and prayers," said Jim Kelly, Cataluna's husband.
The family has requested privacy and that people not visit or call as Cataluna recuperates.
