Advertiser Staff

Six hundred students earning associate, bachelor's and master's degrees from Hawai'i Pacific University will receive diplomas in spring graduation ceremonies at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Waikiki Shell.

Nancy Ellis, vice president and dean of the student support center, is scheduled to give the commencement address and receive HPU's highest accolade, the Fellow of the Pacific Award.

There will be three valedictory speakers who were chosen for their academic performance: Kelly Collins, Han Nee Chong and William Tischler.

The ceremony is expected to last about 2 1/2 hours.
