Charmaine Ching, 16, ran away from an emergency foster shelter in 'Ewa on April 23, the department said.

It is not known what she was wearing, but she had a backpack.

Ching is 5 feet 2, 130 pounds, has brown eyes and highlighted blonde hair. She has several tattoos: "Makanani" on her right thigh; "Lehua" on her upper left thigh; a Playboy bunny on her left shoulder; and "C" on her lower right leg. She has a scar on her left forearm and three two-inch scars on the back of her left hand.

Ching is known to frequent the Nanakuli and Ma'ili Beach Park areas of the Leeward Coast.

Shalene Kerfoot, 17, ran away from her foster home in Makakilo May 6, the department said. She was last seen wearing a short green blouse, black polyester pants and rubber slippers.

Kerfoot is 5 feet 3, 101 pounds with wavy, reddish brown hair and dark brown eyes. She has no tattoos or other distinguishing marks. She is known to frequent the Mililani, Nanakuli and 'Aiea areas.
