UH's Bryant named WAC Pitcher of the Week

University of Hawai'i righthander Stephen Bryant was named the Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced today.Bryant used his first career complete game to beat Fresno State, 4-1, Thursday. He allowed one walk and gave up seven hits while striking out 11 to earn his seventh victory against three losses.
Bryant, a senior from Chico, Calif., is the fourth UH pitcher to receive the honor this season. It is also the fourth of his career.
