The University of Hawai'i women's soccer team will hold three clinics this summer, including a goalkeeping camp.

The first session for field players is June 7 to 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second is from July 19 to 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will work on dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting. They also will go through tactical situations to work on overall playing ability and understanding of the game.

The goalkeeper clinic is June 14 to 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will learn diving, catching, footwork and distribution, as well as tactical elements such as shot stopping, breakaways and crosses.

The clinics are for boys and girls, ages 6 to 13, and will be at the University of Hawai'i grass practice field. The fee is $150.

Chile spices event

Team Chile and Honolulu's Hawai'i Polo Inn will meet in a polo match Sunday at Mokule'ia.

Gates open at 11 a.m. with the match beginning at 2 p.m. The afternoon also features the sounds of POWER 3-0.

BASKETBALL

League for girls only

A basketball summer league for girls from eighth grade to incoming high school seniors will be held at McKinley gym.

The league starts June 7 and runs through July 15 with games played Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Entrance fee is $350 for a guarantee of 10 games.
