Pearl City man accused of assault

A 40-year-old Pearl City man was charged with three counts of misdemeanor sexual assault Thursday.

Police said he sat in his car naked and induced girls to approach under the pretense of asking for directions.

Douglas S. Baird was arrested on Noelani Street, near his home. Bail was set at $6,000.
