Putting your "financial house" in order as you reach your later years, or a family member does, will be among the topics in a discussion series, "ELDER CARE: TOOLS FOR THE JOURNEY," sponsored by the University of Hawai'i Outreach College. Other weekly topics to be discussed include "creative aging" for the baby boom generation, elder law (including discussion of basic estate planning, wills, estate taxes, planning for incapacity, and "surrogate" decision-making and guardianship), and ways to cope with a loved one's death.
