FREDERICK CABILES FLORES, 18, of Honolulu, died May 16, 2005. Born in the Philippines. Jack in the Box cook. Survived by daughter, Christine Sotelo; father, Domingo; mother, Florentina; daughter, Christine Sotelo; brothers, Noel, Marlon, Nelson, Darwin, Michael, Brian and Julius; sisters, Marilyn Cabigon and Eleanor Siosos. GORDON KAKUJI INOUYE, 95, of Honolulu, died May 21, 2005. Born in Oita, Japan. Retired minister for Hawaii Central Tenrikyo Church. Survived by wife Yoshi; sons, Guy, John, Alfred, Douglas and Tyrone; daughters, Nobuko Yoneda, Michelle Itokazu, Lena Okada and Lisa Michaelson; sisters, Haruyo Ito, Mitsuko Ishihara; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Visitation 5 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6 p.m. Casual attire.

ELSIE HANAYO ITOGA, 91, of Honolulu, died May 21, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Retired self-employed beautician, Lady Fair Beauty Salon. NELLY CRUZ LLANES, 66, of Kailua, Kona, Hawai'i, died May 22, 2005. Born in Matnog, Sorsogon, Philippines. Retired waitress at the Royal Kona Resort and member of the Filipino Organization Club of Kona. Survived by sons, Bomboy, Kenneth and Ronnie; daughter, Myrna; brother, Gato Cruz; sisters, Gloria Benevidez, Faye Oro and Adelfa Servando; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Visitation 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Visitation also 8 a.m. Saturday at the church; 10 a.m. Mass; burial to follow at the Kona Memorial Park. Casual attire.

EMILY NAONE TAI MAKAKOA, 76, of Waimanalo, died on May 21, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Retired food and beverages cashier from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel. Survived by sons, Emory and Nathan Tai; daughter, Wanda Smith; sisters Sahra Kapua and Lucille Tyrell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service at 6 p.m. Friday at Nu'uanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Casual attire, no flowers.

LOUVANNA CHERI MARTOS, 25, of Waikiki, formerly of Hagatna, Guam, died May 26, 2005. Born in Augusta, Ga. Tsunami's Waikiki advertising manager. Survived by father, Anthony; mother, Josita Santos; brother, Brandon Young; sister, Abreina Cruz; grandmother Natividad Chargualaf. Memorial gathering 10 a.m. today at Waikiki Beach fronting Duke Kahanamoku statue. Funeral and burial later on Guam.

BETTY JANE TORRES, 64, of Wai'anae, died May 24, 2005. Born in Honolulu. A homemaker. Survived by sons, Wesley Schlitzkus Jr. and Clayton Schlitzkus; daughter, Donna Rios; brother, Andrew Medeiros; sister, Olivia Taum; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. JOHN PHILLIP YOUNG, 82, of Honolulu, died April 30, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Retired from Shriners Hospital for Children and member of the Kamehameha Glee Club. Survived by nieces, Beatrice Kealoha, Betty Cazinha, Henrietta Palenapa, Dawn Akiona and Gloria Barcelona.
