Crafts fairs bring in holiday season

Yes, crafts-fair season is fully upon us. Here are a few notables this weekend (admission is free):

  • The Lanakila Rehabilitation Center's Holiday Gift Fair moves to its Halawa warehouse at 99-1132 Iwaena St. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. You'll find gifts, home accessories, plants, fruits and veggies and prepared food. 531-0555.

  • More than 150 crafters will be at the 16th annual Noelani School Holiday Craft and Children's Fair. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. There'll be jewelry, clothing, ceramics, ornaments, gift items, food and rides, games and make-n-take activities for the kids.

  • At Kapi'olani Community College: The Diamond Head Arts and Craft Fair is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow with food and music. "Christmas in November" breakfast is 6:30 to 11 a.m. at the college cafeteria, with fruits, pastries, potato pancakes, scrambled eggs, turkey and ham. Cost is $7.50.
