Kicker Kelly gets WAC honor

University of Hawai'i placekicker Dan Kelly was named the Xbox Live Western Athletic Conference football special teams player of the week, the conference office announced this morning.Kelly, a freshman from Temecula, Calif., made two field goals and all six extra points in the Warriors' 50-23 victory over Utah State Saturday at Aloha Stadium.
Kelly made good of field goal attempts of 46 and 31 yards.
Nevada running back B.J. Mitchell and Fresno State defensive end Garrett McIntyre were named the offensive and defensive players of the week respectively. Receiver Davone Bess was UH's offensive player nominee.
