Suspects sought in beating of 63-year-old man

Police are looking for suspects involved in the beating of a 63-year-old man near the corner of Waiakamilo Road and Colburn Street, police said.

The victim was last seen getting into a taxi at 2 a.m. on Nov. 10. The taxi was described by witnesses as a four-door white sedan driven by an Asian male, police said. The men were seen leaving 1210 Dillingham Boulevard.

At about 2:20 a.m., the victim was found unconscious on the sidewalk on Waiakamilo Road with injuries that indicated he was beaten, police said.

The victim was identified as Edwin Penn and remained in the hospital in critical condition, police said.
