Rainbow Wahine sweep past Louisiana Tech

The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team completed its seventh consecutive undefeated conference regular season with a 30-16, 30-11, 30-20 victory over Louisiana Tech tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.The Rainbow Wahine (22-6, 16-0 in the Western Athletic Conference) have secured the top spot in the WAC Tournament that begins Thursday at Reno, Nev. UH, ranked No. 9 in the nation, clinched its 10th consecutive regular season WAC title last week. LaTech is 15-17, 2-14.
Hawai'i seniors Susie Boogaard, Victoria Prince and Ashley Watanabe were honored following the final home regular season match of the season.
