HPU falls in volleyball regional semifinal

Cal State Los Angeles held off Hawai'i Pacific, 32-30, 30-27, 25-30, 12-30, 17-15, in the Pacific Regional semifinals of the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament tonight in Los Angeles.Cal State Los Angeles (26-2) plays Cal State San Bernardino (21-7) in tomorrow's regional final. Hawai'i Pacific ended its season 24-3.
The Sea Warriors' Flavia Brakling had a match-high 22 kills tonight.
San Bernardino defeated Central Washington, 26-30, 31-33, 30-16, 30-27, 15-8, in the other semifinal.
