Sunday's Mistletoe Magic is a holiday attraction that offers high-end Christmas shopping while helping Ballet Hawaii.

The event will be held at the Hawai'i Loa Ridge home of Ballet Hawaii board member Jackie Takashita. Sales will benefit the ballet company as it prepares to launch this year's "Nutcracker" production Dec. 16-18 at Blaisdell Concert Hall as well as an April 2 Smuin Ballet show April 22 at the same venue.

Co-chairwomen Vivien Stackpole and Ana Meng have lined up a variety of participants selling everything from original art to chic dresses.

"Our designer boutiques will feature gifts to satisfy your entire gift list," Stackpole said.

Among the vendors offering holiday wear and fare: sparkling handbags from the Wright Collection, koa creations from Island Treasures, unique Santa Clauses from Over the Koolaus, Christmas trees from Mele's Mood, fashions from Anne Namba Designs, Chinese antiques and jackets from Tradewind East, blown glass by artists Diane Kelly and Bruce Clark, art pieces from Dolphin Gallery, and jewelry from The Meng Dynasty, Tasaki Pearls and L. Rafael Jewelry.

Also available: a Ballet Boutique with dance memorabilia and holiday ornaments, and a Bali Boutique with handcrafted gift items.

For those in search of a one-of-a-kind Christmas tree, there will be an assortment, including those decorated by Rick Romer, a set designer for ABC's "Lost."

For book and design aficionados, author-designer Mary Philpotts McGrath and co-writer Kaui Philpotts will be on hand to autograph copies of "Hawai'i: A Sense of Place," their new coffee-table book.
