HOLIDAYS: DEC. 10-11

Here comes Santa Claus and friends, just in time for Prevent Child Abuse Hawaii's 19th annual Breakfast with Santa fundraiser. The festivities include clowns, face-painting, games, crafts, costumed characters, magicians and entertainment with Imua, Opihi Pickers and Vaihi. Admission for either the breakfast or lunch seating is $18, which includes a served meal, photo with jolly ol' St. Nick, Christmas gift and all the fun. Children under 2 are free.

CONCERT: DEC. 11

Women's vocal ensemble Kitka brings its exotic harmonies for an early holiday treat with "Wintersongs." Kitka, which means "bouquet" in Bulgarian and Macedonian, offers a repertoire of songs that range from Slavic folk carols to pre-Christian incantations to Hebrew folk songs. Tickets are $25 general, $20 students, seniors, military, University of Hawai'i faculty and staff, and $10 UH students.

CONCERT: DEC. 14

Party animals, the infamous rock band Motley Crue will invoke your wild side when it brings its "Carnival of Sins" tour to Honolulu. These rowdy rockers' hit list includes "Home Sweet Home," "Girls Girls Girls" and "Dr. Feelgood." Tickets are $62.50 and $69.50.

CONCERT: DEC. 16

Famed singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka returns to our shores for an acoustic Christmas concert that includes both old and new compositions along with holiday tunes from his 2005 Christmas CD release. Sedaka's rock and pop hits span the decades, from "Calendar Girl" to "Breaking Up is Hard to To" to "Love Will Keep Us Together." Tickets are $25, $37.50 and $45.

COMEDY: DEC. 17

Paul Ogata offers a pair of farewell comedic concerts before he flies off to the Mainland looking for ever-greater gigs. Cathy Tanaka, Shawn Felipe and Stan Egi are special guests. Tickets are $21 advance, $40 VIP; for 18 and older.
