Lojeski is WAC Player of the Week

University of Hawai'i guard Matt Lojeski was named the Xbox Live Western Athletic Conference men's basketball player of the week for his role in the Rainbow Warriors' upset of No. 4 Michigan State, the conference office announced today.

Lojeski, who was making his UH debut after transferring from Eastern Wyoming (Junior) College, scored 20 points in the 'Bows' 84-62 victory Saturday. The 6-foot-6 junior hit 7 of 11 field-goal attempts, including 6 of 8 from 3-point range. He also had four rebounds and a steal.

UH plays at Nevada-Las Vegas on Tuesday.
