Alleged neighborhood bully pleads not guilty

Advertiser Staff

A man accused of bullying his Ahuimanu neighbors for more than a decade pleaded not guilty this morning to two counts of terroristic threatening.

A lawyer for David R. Domingues entered the plea in a video conference from the Oahu Community Correction Center where Domingues has been held in lieu of $2 million bail since his indictment last week on the charges.

Circuit Judge Derrick Chan assigned the case to Circuit Judge Steven Alm and set trial for the week of Jan. 23. Chan told Domingues' lawyer, Randy Oyama, to take up a bail reduction request with the trial judge.
