UH comes up empty at UNLV

The University of Hawaii men's basketball team hit a dry spell on the road in losing 67-61 Tuesday to the University of Nevada Las Vegas in the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev.UH (1-1), which hit 10 of 24 3-point attempts in an 84-62 victory over then No. 4-ranked Michigan State last Saturday, missed its first 15 3-point attempts before Matt Lojeski hit a 3 in the closing seconds.
UH senior Julian Sensley, who scored 20 against Michigan State, did not score. He missed all 11 of his field-goal attempts, including six 3-point attempts.
UH hit just 6 for 18 free throws.
UH's Ahmet Gueye scored 21 points.
UNLV is 2-0.
