Kahuku alum Jeremy Perry, an Oregon State offensive guard, was named the Pac-10 Conference Co-Freshman of the Year.

Perry, The Advertiser's State Offensive Player of the Year in 2003, helped the Beavers improve their rushing by more than 50 yards per game this season after finishing last in the conference in rushing in 2004. He shared the honor with Arizona wide receiver Michael Thomas.

Perry, who is coached by former University of Hawai'i assistant Mike Cavanaugh, also was an honorable mention selection.

Oregon junior center Enoka Lucas, of Kamehameha, and Washington senior linebacker Joe Lobendahn, a Saint Louis alum, were named to the conference second team.

Lucas anchored the line for the Ducks this season, and Lobendahn had 76 tackles and two interceptions.

Arizona State redshirt freshman offensive tackle Brandon Rodd, an 'Aiea alum, and Oregon redshirt freshman offensive tackle Max Unger, of Hawai'i Prep, were honorable mention selections.

Southern California running back Reggie Bush was the Offensive Player of the Year, Oregon's Haloti Ngata and Arizona State's Dale Robinson were the Pat Tillman Co-Defensive Players of the Year, and USC's Pete Carroll and UCLA's Karl Dorrell were the co-Coaches of the Year.
