UH unveils proposed Navy contract

A draft contract between the U.S. Navy and the University of Hawai'i for a university affiliated research center was posted today for the review of the UH-Manoa faculty senate and other concerned parties.The proposed center has generated opposition on campus among some faculty and students.
Outlined in the contract are issues ranging from publication rights to procedural and organizational issues.
