Triathlon maps, road closures

Several East Honolulu roads will be affected by closures Sunday because of the ITU JAL Honolulu World Triathlon Championships.

Kalakaua Avenue from Kaiulani Avenue to Diamond Head Road will be closed while parts of Kalaniana'ole Highway, Kahala Avenue, Lunalilo Home Road, Hawai'i Kai Drive and other side streets will be affected by lane closures. Parking on these streets will be prohibited and tow-away zones will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Here is a list of affected areas:

ROAD CLOSURES:

• Kalakaua Avenue from Kaiulani Avenue to Diamond Head Road
• Paki Avenue from Kalakaua Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue
• Monsarrat Avenue from Kalakaua Avenue to Paki Avenue
