The YWCA will celebrate "the empowered woman" at a fundraising event that offers up a plethora of girlie goodies: champagne, wine and martini bars, appetizers, beauty makeovers, mini-manicures, massages, hairstyling and a silent auction featuring lots of pampering packages as well as jewelry, clothing, vintage treasures and hotel and restaurant packages.

A highlight of the evening will be a fashion show, "The Week of the Empowered Woman," demonstrating how a few simple pieces can be worn in different ways to make up an entire week's wardrobe. Macy's and Bouvier Productions will produce the show.

Proceeds will benefit the YWCA women's economic advancement and leadership development programs.
