Kauai police seize drugs at airport

LIHU'E, Kaua'i — Police confiscated more a pound of crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of more than $200,000, with the arrest Monday of two Wainiha residents at Lihu'e Airport. Edward Kauo, 35, and Caitlin Simpson, 20, were arrested following an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles. Both were charged with felony drug trafficking. Police said they made the arrests after receiving tips from unnamed sources.
