Two boys, ages 2 and 4, are safe and reunited with their parents after the van they were sleeping in was stolen earlier today.

Police said the children's mother had left the car unattended while she went into the 'Ewa Beach branch of the Bank of Hawaii around 2 p.m. The boys were sleeping in the backseat.

The van was found in the Kapolei Shopping Center and a 29-year-old man was arrested while police were preparing a Maile Amber Alert. The man was booked on two counts of kidnapping and one count of auto theft. He also was arrested on a $20,000 warrant for probation revocation.
