TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Related," 8 p.m., WB. This show's third episode, like its first two, is stuffed with warmth, wit, drama and beautifully detailed characters. Stick around and you'll like all four sisters. Tonight, Anne is depressed over the end of her six-year relationship. Ginnie is assigned to counsel her, an unenviable task. Meanwhile, flighty Marjee has an overbearing boss. And Rose, a converted good-doer, may finally have a way to deal with her ultrahip roommate Flash. Produced by Marta Kauffman, a "Friends" creator, these are people we want to spend time with.

"Black Movie Awards," 7 p.m., TNT. Some immense talent will be on stage. That includes Cedric the Entertainer as host, plus special awards for career (Sidney Poitier), rising star (Kimberly Elise) and Classic Cinema Hall of Fame (the brilliant "The Color Purple," is honored and it follows at 8:30 p.m.). Since this was taped in advance, winners were announced but we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.

OF NOTE

"E-Ring," 7 p.m., NBC. Two Marines, accused of rape, may be lynched in Suriname. J.T. wants to move quickly to save them but higher-ups are afraid of offending the people there.

"The George Lopez Show," 7 p.m., ABC. Now that George's mom has accidentally burned her car, people are bitter about being her chauffeur.

"Freddie," 7:30 p.m., ABC. Freddie waits nervously for a prominent restaurant critic — who was also his high school enemy.

"Drawn Together" season opener, 7:30 p.m., Comedy Central. This animated series pretends that various cartoon characters are living together, "Real World" style. There are a few funny moments tonight, plus some that go too far.

"Lost," 8 p.m., ABC. We've learned that the people who captured the raft survivors aren't the feared "others," but apparently survivors from the back section of the plane, including Rose's husband. Tonight, they demand that Sawyer and Jin lead them to the camp; Michael has broken free and is searching for his son.

"Criminal Minds," 8 p.m., CBS. Elisabeth Harnois, who was so good in the "Point Pleasant" series, plays a teen held hostage. The kidnapper seems terribly interested in her twin sister.

"CSI: NY," 9 p.m., CBS. Someone has been decapitated while sitting on a Central Park bench.

"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. At first, police think a prostitute has been murdered. Then they learn that she was an undercover reporter — and that a gang seems to have violent ties everywhere.
