Fellowship, award nominees sought

The Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is accepting applications for the Individual Artist Fellowship in Visual and Performing Arts, nominations for the Hawai'i Award for Literature and nominations for the Governor's Award for Distinguished Achievement in Culture, Arts and Humanities.

The Individual Artist Fellowship recognizes artistic excellence in the visual and performing arts. The Hawai'i Award for Literature is the state's highest award in the field of literary arts.

The Governor's Award is the state's highest honor bestowed to a person who has made significant lifetime contributions to Hawai'i in the areas of culture, arts and humanities.

The Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
