The Rock and Mineral Society of Hawaii (Hui Pohaku 'O Hawai'i) struts its rock and mineral stuff — such as vanadinite (left), amethyst, celestite, faceted gemstones, opals, topaz, and fine jewelry and fossils at its annual show this weekend.

Got your own specimens at home? Bring them to the show and hui members will help identify them.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach, 2335 Kalakaua Ave. Admission is free. 921-9731.
